FastOrange Yeast Bouillon Broth
FastOrange Yeast Bouillon Broth was developed especially for quantitative routine quality control in breweries, wineries, and the broader food industry. The medium is especially useful to check the efficacy of sanitation procedures – collect some final rinse water and monitor for the presence of live yeast residues.
Mix a liquid sample 1:1 with PIKA FastOrange Yeast Bouillon Broth and incubate aerobically at 25-27° C (77-81° F). Growth of yeasts in liquid samples is indicated by turbidity and precipitation. In the presence of the typical beverage spoiling acid producing species, the medium also turns yellow.
