FastOrange Brett Bouillon Broth
Detect super–attenuating Brettanomyces yeasts (Dekkera) throughout the whole production process by simply enriching a sample in FastOrange BRETT Bouillon Broth. The broth encourages growth of Brettanomyces yeast strains while suppressing growth of other yeast groups as well as bacteria. Samples contaminated with Brettanomyces are easily detected with the naked eye since they cause a color change of the medium from violet to yellow.
For wild yeast brewers, PIKA FastOrange® BRETT Bouillon is also convenient for isolating active Brettanomyces strains from mixed cultures.
